Client: Good Life Experience Pilates
Service: Website Refresh & Strategic Cleanup
Timeline: One month

The Situation
When Cheryl, owner of Good Life Experience Pilates, reached out, she wasn’t looking for a flashy rebrand or a ground-up rebuild. She was looking for relief.
Like many small business owners, she’d had previous bad experiences working with other management companies — long timelines, poor execution, and a lot of emotional labor for very little return. By the time we connected, she was understandably cautious about handing her website over to someone new.
Her words after our first pass?
“Dang, you’re good! I took a very quick looksie but so far it looks like you’ve healed just about all my triggers.”
That told me everything I needed to know.
This wasn’t about aesthetics alone. This was about trust, efficiency, and usability.
The Goal
The scope was intentionally focused:
Clean up and clarify existing content
Improve layout and visual hierarchy
Make the brand feel more cohesive and intentional
Implement a short list of specific updates she requested
No unnecessary upsells. No over-engineering. Just making the site work better for the business.
What We Worked On
During the refresh, we completed the following:
Clarified and updated service packages on the Services page
Made the logo more prominent and visually balanced in the header
Improved overall layout, spacing, and usability across the site
Added a TikTok link to support current marketing efforts
Updated instructor information
Added an additional gallery image to better reflect the studio experience
All recommendations were practical, fast to implement, and aligned with how Cheryl actually runs her business.
The Result
What previously took other teams months to deliver — and still missed the mark — was completed in less than a week.
More importantly, the site now:
Feels calmer and easier to navigate
Better reflects the studio’s energy and professionalism
Supports Cheryl’s current offerings without unnecessary complexity
And perhaps most telling of all, Cheryl felt confident enough to leave a detailed public review immediately after launch — something that rarely happens when a project feels draining or unresolved.
Client Feedback
“What it took others months to produce (poorly), Martine was able to offer recommendations, fix and enhance my website in less than a week. If you’re looking for creative, efficient and useable deliverables for your business, I wholeheartedly recommend The Vendor Lab.”
Why This Matters
This project is a perfect example of how not every business needs a full redesign — but almost every business benefits from:
Clear strategy
Clean execution
Honest scope
Someone who understands both the technical and human side of the work
At The Vendor Lab, the goal isn’t to create busywork. It’s to remove friction — in systems, in decision-making, and in the process itself.
The Takeaway
If your website feels stressful, unfinished, or harder to manage than it should be, you don’t necessarily need more features.
You need the right fixes, done well, by someone who respects your time.
That’s the work I do.
